My husband and I have had an ongoing battle over him shaving his facial hair. Personally I prefer a man with a nicely shaved face and even more if I have to kiss that face! There is just something very attractive and clean looking when a man has a shaved face. It's not only the looks that make me like "hairless" better. I tend to break out in a rash when I brush against his scruffy face. Seriously, I have only seen his face without hair just a handful of times in our 20 years of marriage. He has told me that he feels very insecure without facial hair because it somehow makes him appear as if he has a double chin. . . I think I'll show him this Easter self portrait so that he can see that it's his double chin that is making him look like he has a double chin. Hair or no hair, the chin is there! LOL! Check it out. To Shave Or Not To Shave?. . That Is The Question.

Ooohh... I like Scott just a little scruffy. It's like "my dirty, bad boyfriend" look. Don't get me started, he is your brother:)
It depends on how long the hair is...Mike's stubble is scruffier than when he grows out the goatee. I agree, the double chin is definitely there!
My husband had a moustache when I met him and he kept it until 5 or 6 years ago. He said that he grew it to look older, and then he realized that he didn't need to look older any more. He also grew a cute scruffy goatee for a while once.
When he shaved the moustache after many years, it was a shock at first because I was so unused to it. But I like him better clean-shaven, because the facial hair is too scratchy for me.
I DESPISE facial hair on men! Not only do I think a clean shaven face looks WAY more attractive, it also feels so much nicer to brush against! And I love the lingering scent of shaving cream...yummy! :)
That said, my hubby can do whatever he wants! Of course, he knows he won't get any kisses if his face is scruffy...so what do you think he chooses? ;)
I'm still chuckling over the "hair covers up my double chin". haha That is a great picture. He is such a funny guy! You gotta love him with or without! I do....MUM
He looks exactly like an older version of my red-headed brother!
My brother keeps a goatee to cover up his double chin, too! Too bad he has a third chin peeking out that's highly noticeable.
SHAVE IT FOR CRYING OUT LOOOOOUUUUDDD!!! goatee's are SOOO university of utah early 90's.
