My halls have been decked. . . well almost! And it looks nothing like this picture below BUT I like to pretend. In reality, my ADD keeps me from spending endless hours decorating! If you squint your eyes enough my house looks like this too!!
I do plan on getting around to wrapping my presents some day. . . hopefully before Christmas! My kids said today that our tree looks pathetic. I was shocked to hear such words after spending 3-4 hours decorating it. In reality, they were talking about UNDER the tree and it being completely bare! Do I really have to do EVERYTHING?? Don't answer that!
I have good intentions and big dreams of making my neighbors cute cookies like this. That counts for something right? I decided to try a new cookie recipe tonight. Bad idea! And all that came out of that venture was time wasted and less cooking ingredients for the next time I attempt to be creative:(
I have yet to hang the last few decorations, finish the shopping, wrap a single present or cook ANYTHING yummy for Christmas. *Sigh! I guess the only thing that Martha and I have in common is that we both have an ugly red sweater. Oh wait! And we both hate the IRS!

Of course that isn't your house! You took all those pictures at MY house! You sneaky thing, you! Well, except for Martha posing with the reindeer, of course.
Oops, gotta go! I'm taking the pups out caroling at a few nursing homes, after I deliver several dozen more delicious cookies to elderly shut-ins, and did I mention I decorated my whole street? It looks so yummy!

We bake every year for lots of friends and neighbors, so I'm sure they have come to expect it. We were going to bake Saturday, but I came down sick Friday night, and I'm still sick! So maybe ALL they'll get is good intentions! ;)
I am sadly behind this year. I did try to make Martha's "Winter Bark" to minimal success. I feel certain if she had made it it would have tasted and looked like a "good thing" instead of an accident involving almond bark and chocolate.
You had me SO worried! I was thinking: "This woman's blog is getting removed from my list". Thank God I read to the end.
Don't ever think you're sad. Take a look at our tree if you want sad.

Are you allowed to say you hate the IRS in Utah? Isn't that where the head quarters are?
Well today is Christmas day. I never decorated my tree. We hung unfinished ball ornaments and and Angle kit ontop! I am so glad to know I'm not alone! Hope you had a very Merry undecorated Christmas.
