Is currently NOT available. In fact, she has been unavailable for several days and her house chores are stacking up.

She is also getting really behind at work.

Her family is hoping that she will someday cook again!!

But right now she has more pressing things to address.

Please leave a message after the beep and she might get back to you. . . . BEEEEP!

Amusement Park Amusement.

We all (my side of the family, including my cute parent's) went to an Amusement park on Saturday. I'm pretty sure a good time was had by all.

I sure hope my face didn't look like this.

I'm pretty sure it DID look like this !!

And that was just on the kiddie rides!

Ty-Ty's face looked a lot like this. . .actually, that is really him in this picture. He loved those crazy horses running around in circles on this ride.

In other News:

I've been tagged by Busty Larue and being the lamo that I am, I can't think of anything fun that you want to know about me. I am supposed to come up with SEVEN things ! *Sigh! What's a girl to do? Sappy Sentimental Sunday

Mine was a romance meeting that others only dream of. I never thought that I would meet the love of my life this way but it happened. It was a usual day for me. I was 17 years old and looking forward to my approaching high school graduation. Along with school and the various things associated with that, I was working at the retail powerhouse at that time.

I was feeling pretty powerful after being promoted from Register Operator, who found myself repeating "TYFSOK" over and over as customers came through my line, to Register Supervisor, who kept those twits in line and reminded them to say "TYFSOK" (Thank You For Shopping Our Kmart- for those less fortunate who have NOT had the opportunity to work at Kmart).

Little did I know that this particular night would prove to be different. There I was, being all cool and stuff and then I received a call from the Receiving Manager. He was a goofy kind of guy with a bad perm and side burns. He wore geeky shirts from the 70s it seemed and was a bit odd in my opinion. He asked me if we were busy up front and I told him we were not. He then asked me if I could send some help back to him. He needed some people to mark merchandise and unload boxes. His final words to me were "I would prefer if you sent some good looking girls back here. . . some blonde ones!". Was I hearing him correctly? When it all finally registered, I hung up on him! How could he insult me like that? I had now added JERK to the list of things I had previously thought of him. I was (am) a brunette and I was NOT going to let that blonde bozo tell me that I was NOT good looking because I had dark hair!

Let's just say this relationship WASN'T love at first sight and we didn't exchange any nice words to each other until that fateful night when I didn't have a ride home from work. He offered to take me home and so I went but ONLY because I was desperate to get home! We talked on the way home and although I still thought he was goofy and weird, he was also pretty darn funny. I remember arriving home, getting out of his truck quickly and telling my parent's that a goofy guy from work brought me home.

Little by little, his rides home from work became more frequent and his calls to me increased. This time it wasn't for the cute blondes but to see how I was or if I could go out. He was funny and charming and would do anything in the world for me. I loved that we were so different from each other but we appreciated those differences. We ended up dating for two years (while working at Kmart) before getting engaged. Let's just say my husband Bob (nope, not his real name) was my Blue Light Special! And I mean that in a good way!

Who ever said you can't find anything good at Kmart? Not me for sure. . . No "Kmart Fall apart" here!

Don't ever say that I don't ever give you anything completely romantic and sappy. This is as romantic as my life gets! Enjoy it already dang it! I'm not a writer. I know that shocks you:)

We Interrupt This Blog For Some Breaking News.

LOOK WHAT I GOT! Oh yeah, it's all for me baby! What? You can't seem to figure out why I got this because I put you to sleep? Well, I did and I got it from none other than queen Lola herself. And who knows you better than your own sister?? Nobody I say!

Thanks Lola for saying I make you laugh, when you could have given me the "You make me vomit" award or the "You are a pain in my rump" award or many others. And like you said when you awarded me this, I am not funny in person if I'm funny on my blog. And when I'm funny in person, I can't be funny on the blog. I do this for a reason. You see, I have to pace myself. It's just not good to have too much funny in your life. Yeah, it's true! There are just not enough undies in my stash to keep laughing at myself 24/7. Oh really, I do find myself completely funny and I just have to let it out in drips, or drops or dribbles or droplets. None of this "Here I am being a complete cartoon for you all to enjoy" gushing out all day and night. You would take it for granted and so you get all the other sides of me to enjoy too. . . or not. You choose.

I was told ONCE that I should have been a comedian. I know you find it odd that somebody in the field of Accounting could EVER be THAT funny. Well, I guess you would have to consider the source that suggested such craziness. He was an auditor. You get what I'm saying? Go figure! I think I'll stick to random funny and bean counting.

Thanks Lola! I hope that a hundred dollars was enough?

Anyway, I need to pass this award on and here are some folks I find completely amusing!

Jill from Thou shalt Not Whine keeps me in stitches with all the things her kids say and do! It just reminds me so much of when my kids were little. Awww, sweet memories. . wait, I still have kids at home! What am I thinking?

Alice at Honey Pie is a real character and it is only recently that I have been hooked on her blog. We met through a sexy sox exchange and boy does she know how to pick great sox! I get a kick out of how and what she writes on her blog! (plus, we have some things in common:)

And finally Rowena's Rantings is a great blog. I look forward to checking out her blog and find that she is very entertaining! She also has an adorable new baby, which I would steal from her if I knew where to find her. (Just teasing, I'm not a stalker like that but he is very cute:)

Waiting To Exhale. . .Ready To Let My Hair Down!

SURPRISE!! I'M BACK!!

Are you completely shocked that I posted? You missed me didn't you? Oh, don't try to deny it. I know you and I could just hear you saying "When is that darn Diana going to get off her butt & post a new/lame post? I seriously haven't had my fix of lame reads this week! Where is she?"

Well, I would like to say that I was on some really cool and relaxing vacation or that I was shopping like a mad woman and treating myself to every luxury a woman could want. Truth be told, I was REALLY BUSY! OH, not that fun kind of busy either! It was work kind of busy and not anything blog worthy to write about and so I spared you the additional suffering. Only because I'm nice like that. Oh, don't cry for me Argentina because I lived through it.

What was I busy with you ask? Why thanks for pretending to care! You really do don't you? OK, then I will tell you. Between working like crazy at our floral in preparation for all the mass Memorial Day flowers, I had to watch the final of American Idol. . . That took a bit out of my life. And then I had to finish my shopping and send off my sox for the exchange put on by the one and only Smiling Infidel. And of course, I had to throw "Mom duties" in there somewhere! All in all, I am feeling like it's about time to let my hair down!

The big Floral holidays are officially over until Winter and with taxes behind us for the year, I just feel like FINALLY doing a happy dance. What's that you say? You want to see such a dance? OH, no you don't want to see that! You would be deeply scarred for life. You have never seen things jiggle so much and look so darn stupid at the same time. It's disturbing.

IN UPDATES: (because I know you are dying to know what is happening in my life)

My fabulous parents (well I hope they are still fab:) have only a little over a week before leaving their 22 month mission in Liberia, Africa to come home to us!! Let's all shout it "YIPEE!" . . . Thanks! I can hardly wait to see them! I have missed them dearly.

My hubby (Bob) and his knife business aren't really doing much. He has sold probably 20 knives and that leaves us with a family room stocked with a mere 280 now! WOW! He is kicking butt on this venture! NOT! Let's not discuss it further, it's a sore spot with us right now and he has to keep the knives out of my reach or else!. . . Oh, you didn't think I was serious did you? Now if anything happens to poor Bob, I had absolutely NOTHING to do with it! hee hee! I'm JOKING people!

Remember my burn? After 10 days of hobbling around with much pain and it only getting worse, I finally gave in and went to the doc. He said it was a bit infected and took care of that (OUCH) and then gave me some Silvadene to put on it. It worked great the first day and now it is really infected! YIKES! I would seriously post a picture because I am gross like that but my daughter Kitty told me that it almost made her throw up. I'm not about inducing such behaviors and want you to keep your breakfast/lunch/dinner down, whatever it may be! Just know, it's gross. Needless to say I will be giving away all my Daisy Duke shorts and swimsuits as I will have a nasty scar glaring off my leg for all to see. OH, and don't ask to have my hand-me-down shorts because I was only kidding people! I don't own any:D

The moral of the burn story is don't do anything nice for anyone else. It will save you MUCH pain! haha! You have heard that "No good deed goes unpunished" haven't you? Like I said. Keep the charitable stuff to yourself! OK, don't! It's still worth the pain:)

I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL MEMORIAL DAY! AND HERE'S TO FUN & EXCITING DAYS TO COME:)

Another Year Older. . Enough Said!

Here I am in my fancy party attire. OK, I don't smoke but what the heck! A cigar hanging out of my mouth is sure to get some looks right? (Like the stunning outfit didn't?)
I have officially made it past another birthday, which at my age is NOT a joyous occasion anymore! Birthdays are just a big slap in the face reminder of how very old I'm getting. Today, after reading the local newspaper, I'm thinking that maybe I should change my tune about getting older. There has been a study done that indicates that old people are happiest. Well cool stuff! I'm all about finding the positive in aging.

The article made some very valid points about why this occurrence is happening, and you can read it all here:) But if you don't read that, you have to read this below. SO FUNNY and darn it, so true!!

Three ladies were discussing the travails of getting older. One said, "Sometimes I catch myself with a jar of mayonnaise in my hand, while standing in front of the refrigerator, and I can't remember whether I need to put it away, or start making a sandwich."

The second lady chimed in with, "Yes, sometimes I find myself on the landing of the stairs and can't remember whether I was on my way up or on my way down."

The third one responded, " Well, ladies, I'm glad I don't have that problem. Knock on wood," as she rapped her knuckles on the table, and then said, "That must be the door, I'll get it!"

It Was a Day Of Much Celebrating!

Yeah, Okay I know. Tax season is officially OVER but I had to throw this picture in to say YIPEE!! I'm done with taxes for yet another year and there are no extensions filed, which means no taxes to do a bit later:) Can life really get much better than this? Tuesday was a great day as I mailed and E-filed the final returns and then went to lunch with a friend in celebration. (I'll find any reason to eat food you know). But while I was gone to eat, this was delivered to my house:

Actually, the only thing the delivery had in common with the above ad was that it was a mattress. It is a queen size mattress and a new one. I will make my own urine and slobber stains & smells alright? OK, that was gross and untrue. I will refrain from either. . if possible.

I have not had a new mattress for sooooooooooo long that I didn't realize they were supposed to be this soft, sturdy and comfortable and without the indent of my body in it. (and boy is my indent BIG:) My husband Bob (I told him that was his new internet name)and I are used to a king bed and mattress, so this queen thing is going to take some adjustment. I am a light sleeper and don't like ANY noise nor do I want anyone touching me, breathing on me or looking at me funny at any point. Yeah, now you are laughing that I downsized! Well, we had our first "new bed" night last night and I actually can say with a grin . . . . . I slept really bad and so did Bob. Don't ask me why I'm grinning. It is probably that I am delirious from lack of sleep! It's going to take a while to adjust to this all but I'm hopeful. Who needs sleep right? I figure, as long as I am comfy while I lay there awake I'm good! *sigh!*

In other good news, my Ty-Ty was in the bathroom brushing his teeth and proudly & loudly announced this to me. "Mom, the dog is potty trained!" In my head I start visualizing Ty holding the dog over the toilet as he went, so I responded "Oh he is? How is that?"
Ty yelled back "Well he came into the bathroom with me and lifted his leg right at the toilet and peed all over it! That makes him potty trained! He's a good dog huh mom! Should I go get him a treat?" All that I could say was "Sure thing honey". Sometimes it's just easier not to argue when you are dealing with a young child! Hope your day is filled with good news too!!

So Yeah, I'm Just A Dorky, Loser Mom.. What's New?

This bunny is greeting me after I forgot to post anything about my kiddos birthdays this past week. I guess I did a big blog for Kitty's Birthday and so the boys assume that she's my favorite. (Well duh! She's my girl! Only teasing. . They are all my favorite. . when they're not on my bad list:) Anyway, here is a belated birthday post & shout out to my oldest and youngest!
Ty-Ty is my baby and he just turned 6 in April 4th. Now we can start the countdown again in the triple digits for next years birthday. "Only 358 more days Mom!" Oh, my! How this child can make me feel much older than I am. He certainly keeps me going:)
I've posted this pic before but it makes me laugh a lot because it is so Ty. He has a cute laugh that makes me laugh. This was taken at Lagoon and was only a week after a Disneyland trip. He enjoyed Lagoon MUCH more than Disneyland. What the heck? Well, it's cheaper for sure! (Although I prefer Disneyland any day).
Jake (AKA- The mighty one) just celebrated his 20th Birthday on April 8th. He is no longer a teenager!! Nah, that doesn't make his mother feel old at all. . Who am I kidding? If I'm not feeling old from the youngest wearing me out, it's from Jake getting old himself! (Of course I had him when I was 12. . wink wink) I'm not sure what this pose was but it was some suit dwelling super hero pose I'm sure of it. (or for gay model magazine:)Here is Jake at California Adventure Park. He just had to have his picture snapped here. Something about him never having been in an A-hole before. . I dunno. . . I don't get it but complied with his request anyway. heh heh heh:D Sorry, that was bad! I like the idea of kids giving their Mothers gifts on each of their birthdays. We did give them
their birthday to begin with for Pete's sake (although I have no idea who Pete is and he was not involved in them being born). They should also be giving US the gifts for keeping them alive for one more year don't you think? I say it's only right! All those in favor say I??

There I Was, In The Spotlight And Caught Brown Handed!

Friday night I had the opportunity to once again help audit the Miss "SmalltownUSA" (not it's real name) Pageant. My brother in-law Jeff and I have done this for many years now and so it was just the same old thing for us pros. Except this time there were a few hiccups with my computer and I ended up adding all the scores by hand on my part. It just reminded me that I need to freshen up on my adding abilities! I haven't had to use my brain (and fingers) to add for so long that it was trying at times. Anyway, that has nothing to do with my story here.

The pageant had started and we were sitting behind our table up at the front of the auditorium (almost facing everyone who was seated). I was having a hankering for some chocolate and remembered that the pageant director had given us some yummy mint chocolate. I decided that I would sneak my arm down in my bag at the right time, when lots of noise was going on and snag me a piece. The audience was clapping for the M.C and so I bent over, grabbed the chocolate and started pulling it up towards me and just then. . . Dun Dun! Was that suspenseful
or what? Got you interested? Wanna know more? Really it's lame but here it goes.

The M.C announced "We would like to thank our auditors over here" and as he said this, the spotlight hit us! I was still half bent over with chocolate in tow!! I looked over and Jeff was upright and giving a nice friendly wave as they thanked us. OH, I could have died! Couldn't they just get that light off from us? Of all the moments! They had never done it this way before! I wasn't expecting it! I was caught brown handed in front of a packed auditorium and that's not all. This was to be aired over and over again on the local city cable channel. GREAT! Now the whole county knows what I chocolate hog I am! Well, I guess when you are an addict like me, it's bound to get out to everyone. There is no trying to hide my mad love and addiction to chocolate anymore. (By the way, I'm not eating chocolate right now as I'm typing, but another yummy thing "Chili Cheese Fritos! They're great for Breakfast:)

P.S. For those of you who have never seen me, the resemblance of me and Marilyn is uncanny!
(Although I have dark hair and a face and body that looks nothing like hers, but the rest is the same:) I even dressed like she is dressed in this picture to do my auditing duties:0)

I don't get my thrills from air blowing up my skirt but from a big hunk of Symphony bar in my mouth!

To Shave Or Not To Shave?. . That Is The Question.

My husband and I have had an ongoing battle over him shaving his facial hair. Personally I prefer a man with a nicely shaved face and even more if I have to kiss that face! There is just something very attractive and clean looking when a man has a shaved face. It's not only the looks that make me like "hairless" better. I tend to break out in a rash when I brush against his scruffy face. Seriously, I have only seen his face without hair just a handful of times in our 20 years of marriage. He has told me that he feels very insecure without facial hair because it somehow makes him appear as if he has a double chin. . . I think I'll show him this Easter self portrait so that he can see that it's his double chin that is making him look like he has a double chin. Hair or no hair, the chin is there! LOL! Check it out. I rhymed! :) I don't know, maybe I'm the weird one. Do you prefer your man scruffy or with a clean shave?

Still Not Feeling Well

I've managed to get some darn virus and can't get rid of it! The bummer is that I am pretty sure I got it from the doctor's office! Oh yeah, I went there feeling great and a day later was NOT so great! Then again, maybe I'm suffering from "Turtleneckitis". I've heard that can get to you after a long winter of turtleneck wearing!! Maybe I should just be defiant and wear a tank top or something?? Would that help?

I have moments where I have even said "I am sicker than a dog". I'm not really sure what that means but maybe this is the reason for my illness to begin with?? Here I thought the kids were doing the dishes while I was in bed but it turns out I was wrong!!

HOLIDAY OVERLOAD!!

After working all day & night in freezing cold temperatures INDOORS (to keep the flowers perky!) We were not only tired and cold, but we were delirious!! It's all a bit hazy to me now but I think we were going for the unibomber look and Lola was spelling COW with her fingers and mouth and I was spelling WOW! (Jenny in the middle was supposed to be doing MOM but failed miserably! She's a loser & looks like she is sprouting something out of her face!) Aren't we incredibly talented? I'm not sure how the flowers turned out for Valentines Day but we were being our usual dorks and enjoying it!! OK, don't be jealous but we are HOT in this pic!! (next time I shouldn't wear my daughter's hoodie huh??)

Darn! I forgot to take pictures of the masses of flower arrangements because I was too busy (working my butt off. . . oh, it's still there) and only thought about it as the day was winding down and few were left! Oh well. Here is just a few of the 1000s of flowers we touched this week!

Right now is my favorite part of Valentine's Day. It's actually the night and I'm finally home and of course eating a sugar cookie, drinking a Diet Coke and scraping the frostbite off from my toes and fingers! Don't worry! I should only loose a couple of digits on each!! I can still walk and type without them!! Hope your Valentine was good to you!!

Feeling Under The Weather

Feeling "under the weather" is really an odd way to say your not feeling well. Aren't we all under the weather?? I'm thinking yes. . . So I am under the weather and NOT feeling well at all. I have some nasty cold!! I really have got to start carrying around a piece of wood so that I can knock on it when needed. I made the mistake Thursday of bragging about how great I have felt and BAM! It hits me and hard!! Then again, maybe I need to just keep my mouth shut about feeling good. Regardless, I have definitely got to get myself "over the weather" or feeling great because as a floral owner, this is NOT a good week to not be at the top of your game! I'll just pop a few more pills and hope to be back at it VERY soon! ( I only wish I looked this good when feeling ill!! I didn't want to scare you with a real picture of myself !)

Houston, We Have a Problem ! WAAAAAAHH !!

This has nothing to do with Houston. . .not even Texas at all! And it's not that WE have a problem. The problem is clearly mine! I guess I said that because it just sounded familiar!! So. . . . . . . . . .. . . . . Does the above picture look wrong to you?? Well HELLO!!. . . I have man hands!! They are bigger than my husbands!! No kidding! Oh wait. . . that wasn't the story. . .
Let's just say that tonight has NOT been my best night ever! It started when I decided to go grocery shopping! Yeah, that would have been enough to ruin my night but it didn't end there. I decided to actually look through the fridge and pantry to see what we did and didn't have instead of my usual approach of just random shopping. Did I mention I hate it? Oh *sigh* well I still do! Anyway, I pulled out the crisper drawer in the fridge to check out the inventory of veggies and I guess I don't know my own strength and I whipped that drawer out and onto the floor. Unfortunately in the process it caught my left hand as it went down. I immediately looked at my ring finger, which took the bulk of the hit and there was my diamondless ring around my finger!! "HOLY CRAP!" I yelled loudly and then a terrible vision flashed quickly through my mind. Out of the corner of my eye, I could see my puppy running quickly towards me (and the spilled drawer of food). I could just picture him eating my diamond up like it was a crumb and then me digging through his poo for the next week trying to retrieve it!! I frantically yelled for my son to grab the dog and I started filling my hand around the floor and in the bottom of the crisper drawer. THERE IT WAS!! I'm just glad I didn't have to really eat those vegetables to find it!! Oh, it was my lucky (unlucky) day!! I sadly stated to my husband "OHHHH, Now I'm going to have to go without it until I can get it to a jeweler!" my five year old son interrupted with "No mom, why don't you just get the hot glue gun and put it back together. That's how you fix everything else!" Uh, I just don't see that working this time! What do you think??

What's A Crazy Fan To Do???

Adriano Moraes

One Of The Greatest Bull Riders Ever!

OK, I won't say it's to the point of obsession but I do LOVE Adriano Moraes and think he is one HOT cowboy! I do get very giddy when I am in the same building as he is and I have even gone so far as to grab his HUGE bicep as he was walking in the opposite direction as we were and I guess I also loudly said "We love you Adriano!" while grabbing his arm. The poor guy wasn't sure what to think! I also managed to run behind him, while he was sitting and signing autographs, and bend down to have a picture snapped with him (or two!) I also find myself secretly wanting every OTHER cowboy to fall off or get injured so that Adriano can win the round on his bull. I tend to get a bit crazed about it all. . . . but I don't think it's obsession. I just think that he is one GREAT bull rider and even more than that a great guy! Unfortunately for me (and everyone else who loves him), Adriano tearfully announced his retirement from bull riding and will make 2008 his final year. What will happen to the sport without him? He's the mentor, the cheerleader, the translator and last but not least the awesome bull rider!! He has even made me think that getting on the back of a bull might be fun!! The one thing that is preventing me from getting on a bull is my OLD age. They have said for years that Adriano is way too old to be riding and now he is finally retiring at the ancient, older than the dirt he falls on, age of 38. Being that I am well beyond 38 (I'm 40 ) the cowboys would say I'm ready for the grave!! OK, really there are many more things keeping from getting on the back of a bull and one of them is an ounce of sanity! You can only do it and do it well if you are a great like Adriano!

Well all I can say for the future is "Watch out Wiley! 2009 You are mine!!" I will try to keep from doing anything a crazed fan might do though. Like get after my husband for NOT getting an autograph while they are in the bathroom at the same time! heehee!

Who Ate My Chocolate & Other Horrifying Tales!

I don't know who took it but they had better fess up! I had a WHOLE one pound Symphony Bar (with almonds & toffee of course) all for myself. I was going to hoard it and eat just a little bit each day. . . maybe break off a bar or two. . . that would satisfy my chocolate madness! (or not) I quietly opened the wrapper so that nobody could hear me and broke off the first bar and quickly ate it. Then I stuffed the rest of the candy bar in my drawer, next to my bed. I tried to get far away from it and forget about that creamy, yummy goodness I had just experiences but to no avail. I had to have another piece! OK, I will just allow myself a couple a day and that will suffice. I think the second piece went in whole! I didn't really get to taste it! I needed to have another. . . . and so I did. . . and maybe another.

But from here on the rest of the chocolate bar story gets really fuzzy. Have you ever been busy and eating something at the same time and you go to have another bite and it's all gone? And you start looking around for the person responsible for eating the rest of it?? Well, that was exactly what happened to me and that Symphony Bar! I swear I don't remember eating the WHOLE thing that day. But when I looked for it the next morning it was gone! All gone! I became a detective and tried to piece together the events of the previous day and what led to my horrifying discovery. Darn memory is leaving me quicker than ever and I really don't remember what happened. . . . .After a good interrogation of the kids every move that day, I think I possibly could have eaten the whole thing! No really! I know what a hog I can be with good chocolate and this is my fav! I think I ate the entire one pound Symphony all in ONE single day!! (maybe even one sitting for all I know!) This whole thing has jogged my memory as to why I don't keep chocolate in the house. I'm a chocolate FREAK! So now I just continue on without chocolate in my grasp. . . . at least until I forget my problem AGAIN and go purchase another beautiful one pound Symphony Bar (with almonds & toffee mind you) all for myself! . . . . I just hope I get some this time!! Darn thieves anyway!

P.S. I guess the other horrifying tales will have to come later as I create them in my day!

Happy Dance Time!....It's Back!

After spending every Tuesday night for the past three years with the youth at the church, I didn't know if I would EVER adjust to life without it. It has been a month since being released as the young women's president and I find myself really lost on Tuesday nights! Everyone would tell me "It won't be long and you will be happy to be home and doing your thing!" Well, that night finally came! I was so thrilled to finally be able to be home when American Idol was on! YIPEE! I love that show! The only problem was that my kids didn't want to go to activity night but wanted to stay home and watch also! Bummer for them! As for me, I sat there in a complete trance and Ty-Ty continuously served me "food" he made at his cooker-baker. I didn't even notice that the dog pooped on Ty's airplane or that he got into Ty's bubble tape and was now covered in gum. I wasn't missing a beat or a note!! (although I spent a great deal of time later picking gum off the dog & trying to get it out of his mouth) It never ceases to amaze me how really awful some people can sing or what they will wear to get attention! YIKES! You have to have a moment of pity for those poor judges when some of those folks walk through the door & sing. Personally, I will just stick to singing in my van, shower and closet so that I will only humiliate myself in front of my family. But I LOVE watching others do it on Tuesday nights again!! There! Now I Can See.....I Mean Hear.

I am so glad to be able to hear again today! I have been battling a congested ear for several days and it has been such a pain! It started with me NOT being able to hear a single thing and I had a painful pressure in my ear and head. Well, I took an antihistamine and the next day I could hear a little bit. Unfortunately, what I could hear when people spoke sounded a lot like Charlie Brown's teacher but with a higher voice & on a loud microphone! It was really bad and I almost wished that I couldn't hear at all. It only took a few more days to get most of my hearing back. (actually, if I get anymore back, it will be better than before this all started!!) I was thinking that it is a real bummer that we can't see inside our own ears! Maybe we could see a problem? There could be something stuffed in there and maybe we wouldn't know it? I decided I would just snap a shot of my ear to make sure that I wasn't walking around with something crazy sticking out of my ear. I have this crazy love of Q-tips cleaning my ear. Maybe I left one sticking out?? What if I did and people were just too embarrassed to tell me? I needed to check for myself. . . . Nope. . . . Looks all clear to me! I'll just continue on with my selective hearing. . . Oh wait. . . That's my husband, who has suffered with this our entire married life! Funny how that happens! Can you hear me now?

OH MY!!

ATTENTION! ATTENTION!

Aliens are coming to abduct all of the goodlooking and sexy people....don't worry.. You'll be safe!! I'm just Blogging to say goodbye and tell you that I have been packing instead of blogging!! Chow for Now! (haha)

I'M IT !!! OH GREAT!!

OK, here are the answers to the game- (Thanks a LOT Amber!)

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.

B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.

C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

What I was doing 10 years ago?

I was 10 years younger! haha! I was preparing for my dear Sister in-law's wedding (oh, and my brother's! haha) I had 3 children at the time (and of course my husband) and I was SKINNY!! What is up with that? Now I just look at the pictures in awe and say "Was that REALLY me?"

5 Things on my To-Do List: (Believe me, I have a boring life!)

1. Get up and get my booty going! ( Oh fun! I love to work Saturdays!)
2. Drink a Diet Coke (or two or three maybe)
3. Tell the kids to accomplish at least ONE chore while I'm gone! (and complain only once!)
4. Return to land of MUCH laundry and NO help and get going on it! (vow to swear only a handful of times)
5. Have another DC (or so) and venture out into "the black hole of doom" (house) to make a path so that people don't hurt themselves.

Snacks I enjoy

Man! I'm trying to think of snacks I DON'T enjoy! That list would be much shorter!!
I'm all about my Diet Coke with Lime and some peanut (or peanut butter) M&M's or a Symphony bar (with toffee & almonds). Those top my list. But it could go on forever so I will stop!

Things I would do if I were a Billionaire:

Billionaire huh? I would be glad to have a thousand extra at this point! haha! Well, if I EVER did win that much (heavens knows I will not work hard enough to have it! )I would pay Tithing of course and then I would definitely pay off my house and of course update some things. I would invest in some annuities, (I would hire a real financial advisor for myself). I would take trips EVERYWHERE and take all my family with me. I would make sure my kids had college money and DANG I wouldn't work but would shop like a crazy woman EVERY day! I would drive something nice......I don't know what that would be since I try to avoid looking TOO hard at expensive vehicles at this point. I would definitely donate to charities. ( I had to say that to not look like too big of a snob! haha! Just teasing, I really would!)

3 Bad Habits:

1. Getting annoyed easy
2. Internet junkie
3. Eating a lot and not exercising enough!

5 Places I have lived: (I haven't gone far)

1. Salem, Utah
2. Provo, Utah
3. Spanish Fork, Utah
4. Small town, USA
5. There isn't a fifth place! Guess it's time to move!!

5 Jobs I've had: (Boy, this is starting to depress me!)

1. Kmart (fall apart) (Retail Crap!)
2. Home (Mother- Still trying to get promoted!)
3. Sweetbriar Cove (Florist, Accountant)
4. Peak Physical Therapy (Accountant)
5. UCMA (Accountant)

5 Things people don't know about me:

1. I have a terrible memory.
2. I have an obsession with groomed fingernails.
3. I love the feel of Q-tips in my ears!

what was the question again?...... Oh yeah!

4. I actually DO like dogs! I didn't know that either!!

5. I despise mean people. Can't do rude or obnoxious, it's an embarrassment!

I'm such a loser that I'm trying to come up with five names to pass this onto and I can't think of a darned person that wasn't JUST tagged! What is up with that?? I will keep soul searching!! Maybe something will come up!
